About Us

The Cronin family have long been an institution in Crosshaven and have been involved in the running of Cronins Pub since the 1970’s which is now in it’s third generation.

Denis Cronin is now heading the restaurant venture and was trained under the guidance of his Dutch mother, Thecla. He trained with her in kitchen which has an established lunch trade and furthered his studies in Cork Institute of Technology, partaking in the Cheffing and Bar Management Courses. He later completed the Certificate Course at Darina Allens’ world famous cookery school in Ballymalloe.

Since the opening of the restaurant Denis has been sculpting a kitchen team to ensure that the quality of food is at the highest possible standards. Front of house is Denis’ sister Joleen and her fantastic team of waiting staff.

The restaurant is under the Cronin’s Pub wing which is guided by Sean and Thecla. Sean manages the bar and Thecla looks forward day by day to retirement in her mecca on the hill overlooking the sea.
